About This Product
Manley Severe Duty intake valves fit 1987 XL1100 and 1988 to 2003 XL1200 Sportsters. Sold as a pair. They have a 1.715-inch head diameter and a .3100-inch stem. The stainless heads are swirl-polished and the stems are chrome-plated. They are up to 30% lighter than stock valves. That keeps the valve train stable at high RPM. Fit them with new guides and check the guide clearance before lapping them in.
