About This Product
Colony kickstart return spring stud. Zinc-plated reproduction for 1979 to 1985 XL Sportster models fitted with a kickstarter. Replaces OEM number 33088-79. This stud anchors the return spring to the transmission case. A bent or worn stud lets the kickstart arm hang instead of returning home. Inspect the spring end for fatigue before assembly. Torque to spec and use a drop of threadlocker on the threads.
