About This Product
Tuning a Linkert carburetor requires every small component to work in harmony, and this friction ball spring is no exception. Designed to provide the correct tension for the friction ball on the air intake stop lever, this spring ensures your intake settings stay exactly where you put them. It fits all Linkert carburetors used on Harley-Davidson models from 1926 to 1965, as well as 1932 to 1957 Servi-Cars. Sold as a pack of 10, these are great to have on the bench for multiple rebuilds. They replace OEM 27405-26 and 1296-26. For a complete job, remember to check your friction ball as well, as a fresh spring works best with a smooth ball.
