About This Product
This BDL "Balls" clutch pressure plate kit is a fantastic way to upgrade the stock clutch on 1998 to 2017 Big Twin models. It is compatible with most cable-clutch versions, though it excludes 2017 Milwaukee-Eight models, Assist & Slip clutches, and certain hydraulic setups. The kit reuses your stock clutch basket, diaphragm spring, and retainer, but replaces the factory pressure plate with BDL’s centrifugal lock-up unit. By using steel balls to increase pressure as the engine revs, you get a clutch that holds tight under power while remaining easy to pull at a stoplight. This performance upgrade is sold as a kit.
