About This Product
This Cometic cam cover gasket is built from .060" thick AFM (Aluminum Foamet Material), featuring an aluminum core bonded between chemically blown nitrile synthetic foam layers. It withstands temperatures over 250°F while delivering 85% recovery and strong torque retention, meaning you can skip the gasket sealers, silicone beads, and re-torqueing after installation. A direct replacement for OEM references 25225-36 and 25225-36C, this precision die-cut gasket seals the cam cover to the engine case on 1941–1969 Big Twin models, excluding Flatheads.
