The BDL Competitor clutch assembly with the "Balls" lock-up pressure plate is a game-changer for 1998 to 2006 Big Twin models, excluding 2006 Dynas. This assembly fits right into your OEM clutch basket but provides over 60% more friction area than the stock unit. The innovative pressure plate uses 42 steel balls that use centrifugal force to increase clamping pressure as RPMs rise. This means you get incredible hold for big-inch motors without the heavy lever pull usually associated with high-performance clutches. It is the perfect balance of streetability and race-grade performance. This unit is sold as an assembly.
