About This Product
Drag Specialties kickstart mainshaft gear. 16 tooth. Fits four-speed and early five-speed Big Twin transmissions. This gear transfers kick pedal motion to the mainshaft to engage the engine. It replaces a worn original that slips or grinds under load. The teeth need correct engagement or the kick will slip and chew the mating gear. Check the mainshaft and the engagement teeth for wear before installing this replacement. Sold individually.
