About This Product
The Drag Specialties centrifugal advance unit fits 36-65 DISTRB models. The assembly includes the weights, springs, and base plate that advance the timing as engine speed rises. Worn weights or sticky springs cause poor power, flat spots, and engine knock. Replace the unit to keep the ignition curve correct and the motor pulling cleanly through the rev range. You need this for any distributor rebuild. Sold as a kit.
