This 3/8" shim kit is an essential tool for the precise installation and alignment of Performance Machine calipers, including models 125X4R, 125X4SL, 125XRSPH, 137X4, 137X6, 112X6, and 162X2. The kit includes two each of .015", .030", and .060" thick shims, allowing the technician to perfectly center the caliper over the brake rotor. Proper alignment is crucial for preventing uneven pad wear, reducing drag, and ensuring optimal braking performance.
