This BMC air filter element, known as The Red Filter, is a premium replacement for the restrictive OEM paper filter on 2008 to 2012 XR1200 models. It is constructed with a durable metallic mesh and multiple layers of oiled cotton, allowing for much higher airflow while maintaining superior protection. The filtration oil acts as a sticky trap for impurities down to 7 microns, ensuring your engine stays clean even with the increased breathability. These filters are precision-made in the EU and are fully washable and reusable, providing a lifetime of performance.
