About This Product
Transpo solid-state voltage regulator/rectifier. Black finish. 2-pin male connector. Fits 1981-1988 Big Twin models with alternator charging systems. Replaces OEM 74516-86. This is a direct replacement for the factory regulator. Check your alternator stator output before fitting. A shorted stator will cook the new regulator. Clean the connector pins and torque the mountings properly. That gets your charging system back in order.
