Finished in black with clear fins, this electronic unit replaces the old, unreliable mechanical regulators found on early models. It is designed to mount directly to the end cover of your stock generator, simplifying your wiring and cleaning up the look of the bike. It features built-in red and green LED indicators to give you a quick visual check on your charging status. This regulator fits 1965 to 1969 Big Twin models and 1965 to 1981 XL Sportsters. Wiring is straightforward: red goes to the armature, green to the field, and black to the battery.
