About This Product
The Mikuni air cleaner adapter is a precision-machined aluminum component designed to bridge the gap between performance carburetors and popular air intake systems. This adapter allows for the installation of Mikuni HSR 42, 45, or 48 carburetors onto CV-style backplates, including those from Kuryakyn Hypercharger or S&S air cleaners. It provides a stable mounting surface that maintains proper airflow geometry for the intake tract. Please note that this adapter requires an o-ring (587047) and specific mounting screws (587044) for a complete installation, which are sold separately. This aluminum adapter is sold individually and is a staple for custom intake configurations.
