About This Product
If your bike is struggling to maintain a steady idle or stalling at stoplights, it might be time to replace the idle speed control sensor. This stepper motor, also known as an Idle Air Control (IAC) valve, is manufactured by Standard Co. to meet or exceed factory specifications. It is a direct replacement for OEM numbers 27628-01 and 27628-01A. This sensor fits a broad spectrum of fuel-injected models, including 2001 to 2005 Softails, 2004 to 2005 Dynas, 2002 to 2005 FLT Touring models, and 2007 to 2022 XL Sportsters. It also fits 2008 to 2012 XR1200 and 2003 to 2017 V-Rod models. Restoring proper air bleed at idle is crucial for smooth rideability and engine performance.
