For the long-haul rider seeking maximum protection, the National Cycle SwitchBlade 2-Up windshield is the gold standard. This clear, full-size screen is manufactured from 4mm thick polycarbonate treated with their proprietary Quantum hardcoating, providing ten times the scratch resistance of standard coatings and incredible impact strength. It measures 26.5 inches in overall height and 23 inches in width, effectively pushing the wind over and around the rider. This quick-release shield fits a wide range of Softails, including 1986 to 1999 Heritage Classics, 1990 to 2017 Fat Boys and Slims, and 1993 to 1996 Heritage Nostalgia models. It functions as a direct replacement for OEM 58243-95 but requires a SwitchBlade mounting kit for installation.
