About This Product
This Athena top end gasket kit is purpose-built for 1938-1947 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead engines — specifically E and EL (1000cc / 61") and F and FL (1200cc / 74") models. Accommodating 3-5/16" and 3-7/16" bore sizes, it includes 1mm (0.040") Blue PTFE coated paper cylinder head gaskets, 0.75mm (0.030") reinforced fiber cylinder base gaskets, and all required gaskets and seals for a full top end rebuild. Replaces OEM 17034-38. A quality choice for serious Knucklehead restoration projects.
