About This Product
This Athena clutch cover gasket is designed for 1980 to 1986 FLT Touring and FXR models. It is used specifically between the transmission bearing housing and the transmission end cover to ensure a leak-free seal. Made from 0.031 inch thick fiber-reinforced paper, it also features a silicone bead that helps compensate for minor surface irregularities on older casings. This gasket is a direct replacement for OEM 36801-79 and 36801-79A, offering a reliable solution for maintaining these classic five-speed transmissions. These are sold in a pack of 10, so you will always have a fresh one on hand for the next service.
