About This Product
Athena upper valve spring cover washer. Cork. Fits 1939 to 1948 74 inch and 80 inch Flathead models. Replaces OEM 18245-39 and 173-39A. This washer seals the upper half of the valve spring cover on Big Twin Flatheads. Fit it dry and torque the cover evenly in stages. Do not overtighten or the cork will squeeze out and leak.
