About This Product
Zodiac 24-tooth compensating sprocket for 1970-1984 Big Twin. Fits FX, FXR and Touring models. Replaces OEM 40275-70. It mates to 1970-2006 style compensator assemblies with spring plates. Worn teeth cause clunking in the primary. They also hammer the shaft. Inspect the spring plates and primary chain while the cover is off. Torque the compensator nut to spec.
