About This Product
This Eastern MC Parts crankshaft sprocket shaft replaces OEM 24000-80. It fits 1981-1985 Sportster models. The shaft is made from aircraft-quality steel and heat-treated to 61-63 Rockwell. It drives the primary from the crankshaft flywheel. Check the bearing surfaces and splines for wear before fitting. Measure the runout on V-blocks if you suspect damage. Do not force it into the flywheel if it binds.
