The Dynatek RPM Limiter provides essential engine protection by preventing overrevving and potential valve damage during missed shifts. This electronic unit features user-adjustable dip switches to set limits from 6,000 to over 12,000 RPM. A unique secondary output stage operates independently on a 12-volt signal, facilitating modifications like clutchless upshifts even if the limiter is unpowered. Designed for inductive ignition systems, it supports up to four low-impedance coils without degrading performance until the threshold is reached. Once the limit is hit, the device momentarily cuts the spark, restoring it immediately as revs drop. This component is incompatible with CDI ignitions.
