About This Product
Barnett C08 clutch cable. Fits 1987 to 1994 FXR models. It runs from the handlebar lever to the primary cover release. The FXR frame geometry puts the cable close to the fuel tank and the top motor mount, so check the routing at full suspension compression and full lock. Secure the housing with P-clips and pad any frame contact points. Adjust the free play once the cable has settled after a few rides. If the clutch is snatching or the lever feels gritty, the inner wire is likely frayed. This direct replacement restores a smooth pull and clean release.
