Maintaining a Primo Pro-Clutch requires the right components, and this replacement plate kit is designed specifically for 1986–1989 Big Twin 5-speed models, including FX, FXR, Softail, and Touring bikes. It is important to note that Rivera Primo updated the Pro-Clutch design over the years; early versions featured an integrated steel rear plate on the hub, while later versions used a separate steel end plate. This kit is versatile enough to cover both, though the supplied end plate should be omitted if you are working on an early-style hub. These plates are the correct choice for refreshing the clutch pack in your Brute Classic, Brute III, or Brute IV belt drive system.
