About This Product
Bender Cycle clutch pushrod for late 1984 through 1989 Big Twin models with diaphragm spring clutch. It fits late 4-speed Shovelheads and 5-speed Shovelhead and Evolution engines in FX, FXR, Softail, and Touring lines. It replaces OEM 37089-84. The rod is heat-treated in critical areas. It is sold individually. Check the pushrod for straightness and wear when servicing a 5-speed transmission from this era. A bent rod will ruin clutch release action and shifting.
