About This Product
Bender Cycle clutch pushrod is a release centre component for 5-speed Big Twin transmissions. It fits Harley-Davidson FXR models. It replaces OEM 37088-84. The rod translates lever pull into clutch engagement and disengagement. In a 5-speed Big Twin it takes the load every time you pull the lever. A worn or bent pushrod causes a mushy clutch feel and shifting issues. Check it during a service. Replacing it restores crisp transmission performance.
