About This Product
This Andrews 5-speed transmission gear is designed to provide a significant upgrade over stock components in terms of both strength and shift quality. Machined from high nickel alloy and finished with a heat-treatment and shot-peening process, it is built to handle the torque of modified Big Twins. The gear faces include lead-in ramps to ensure the drive dogs slide into place with less resistance, reducing internal wear. This part replaces OEM 35029-85A and fits FXR, Softail, and Touring models. For owners of 1995–2006 models or 1994 European models, these gears can be utilized as long as they are installed as a matching pair for the mainshaft and countershaft to ensure proper alignment and noise reduction.
