About This Product
This Andrews stock main drive gear is a significant upgrade for 4-speed transmissions, specifically designed to solve common oil sealing and shifting issues. These replacement 4th gears now include O-rings for superior oil retention, a design update that is particularly beneficial for chain drive 1977–1986 models. The gears are manufactured with wider drive slots and steeper lead-in ramps, which results in more positive 3-4 shifting and reduced wear on the internal components. This gear is a direct replacement for OEM 35067-84 and fits Big Twin, FX, and Softail models. It is a must-have for any mechanic looking to improve the reliability and shift quality of a classic 4-speed gearbox.
