About This Product
This JIMS five-speed transmission case, offered by S&S Cycle, is manufactured from 356-T6 aluminum and precision CNC machined for exact tolerances. It is designed to allow the installation of a five-speed gearbox into a four-speed Big Twin frame using a Shovelhead-style driveline and chain final drive. The case accepts most internal components, bearings, and seals from 1985 to 1989 five-speed transmissions. To simplify the installation process, the assembly includes pre-installed studs and dowel pins. This robust housing provides a reliable solution for riders looking to upgrade their drivetrain while maintaining a classic frame configuration.
