About This Product
This is the Samwel Supplies idler gear shaft for the 45CI three-speed transmission. It fits 1932 through 1974 Flathead and Servi-Car models and replaces OEM 36159-41. The idler gear rotates on this shaft in the case. If the surface is scored or the fit is sloppy, the gear wobbles and the box gets noisy. This shaft is hardened and finished to the correct size. Fit it during a rebuild and check the idler gear bore for wear.
