Samwel Supplies gear shifting fork shaft for 45" Flathead and Servi-Car models 1941 to 1973. Replaces OEM 34140-41. The shifting forks slide along this shaft inside the transmission case. Over time the surface scores and the forks bind. Inspect the shaft during any 45CI gearbox rebuild. Fit a fresh one to keep the forks moving freely.
