For those running the Zodiac 6-speed overdrive conversion, this 22-tooth countershaft 5th gear is a key component for maintaining that smooth, quiet operation the kit is known for. This late style gear is CNC-machined from high-stress gear steel and heat-treated to a surface hardness of 58 to 60 Rockwell. It is designed to fit 1991–1998 Dyna models and 1986–2006 Softails equipped with a 1990 to present clutch. Replacing this gear helps maintain the 1:1 ratio in 5th gear before you click up into that 0.86 overdrive 6th. It replaces OEM 35626-94 and is sold individually. It is a professional-grade part for riders who demand the best engineering and CAD/CAM design in their transmission.
