About This Product
If you are running a high-performance Big Twin or a large displacement build, the Mikuni HSR45 Smoothbore is the gold standard for unrestricted airflow. This 45mm venturi setup is a significant upgrade over the HSR42, specifically designed to feed highly modified engines without creating a bottleneck in the intake. This comprehensive kit includes the carburetor itself, a jet kit for fine-tuning, a high-flow K&N air filter, and a classic chromed air cleaner cover. It is designed to work seamlessly with stock-style throttle cables found on 1996 to present models. It fits Evolution Big Twin models from 1984 to 1999 and Twin Cam engines from 1999 to 2017. Note that 1993 and later models require a crankcase breather kit, while 1984 to 1989 models will need 1990 to 1995 style cables to complete the installation.
