About This Product
Converting a Softail to a wide-tyre setup often leads to clearance issues where the belt might rub against the lower swingarm tube. These extra clearance pulley and belt kits are the professional solution to that problem. This kit features a 29-tooth front pulley and a 65-tooth rear pulley designed for use with a 1 1/8-inch belt. This combination only changes your final drive ratio by about 2%, so you won't lose that familiar feel on the road. These kits fit a wide range of Softail models from 1985 through 2005, as well as 2006 FLST, FLSTC, FLSTF, FLSTN, FLSTSC, and FXSTD models. By providing the necessary offset, these pulleys ensure your drivetrain remains reliable and your belt stays clear of the chassis, even with wider swingarm conversions.
