To ensure the longevity of your transmission during a wide-tire conversion, these TPD Right Side Drive transmission supports are a vital addition for Softail models. By supporting the transmission trap door via the swing arm pivot, these brackets prevent excessive load on the cast housing. The kit is available for both Evolution and Twin Cam Softail frames; the Evolution version requires welding for a permanent bond, while the Twin Cam version is designed to bolt directly to the pivot. Each kit is supplied in raw steel and includes all necessary mounting hardware. Whether you are installing a complete RSD transmission or a conversion kit, these supports provide the extra strength required for high-torque, wide-tire applications.
