About This Product
This Bender Cycle clutch pushrod is a premium replacement for 1938 to early 1984 Big Twin motorcycles using a coil spring clutch. Constructed from 4140 chromoly steel, it is built to outlast standard replacements, with a heat-treated finish on the adjusting screw side for added strength. This rod is a direct replacement for OEM 37090-79 and is compatible with FXR and Touring models. It incorporates the improved three-piece design introduced in 1979 for the first 5-speed models. For any mechanic working on a vintage Big Twin, this pushrod is an excellent choice for ensuring the clutch system remains robust and responsive under all riding conditions.
