About This Product
That is a Mikuni brass pilot jet, size #42.5. It fits the HSR42, HSR45 and HSR48 carburettors. Use it to adjust the idle and low-speed fuel circuit. Fit this when you have an off-idle hesitation or a hanging idle that the mixture screw cannot correct. Genuine Mikuni part. Brass construction. The pilot jet works with the mixture screw to set the air-fuel ratio at small throttle openings. Swap it out during a carburettor service if the original is damaged or corroded.
