About This Product
V-Twin front brake backing plate pivot stud. This replaces OEM 44156-64 and fits FX and Sportster models. It provides the pivot point for the front brake shoes to engage the drum correctly. After decades of use the original studs are often worn or corroded. Fit this reproduction during any drum brake rebuild. It restores proper shoe alignment and reliable braking performance.
