About This Product
This V-Twin chrome-plated axle is a premium upgrade for Dyna models, replacing OEM 40928-06. Machined from heat-treated chrome-moly steel, the shaft is triple chrome plated and machine polished before being ground to a precise tolerance of plus or minus .0005". This ensures a perfect fit and exceptional durability. The kit includes the correct axle spacers for Dyna applications, though it can also be used on 2012 to 2016 FLD, 2008 to 2017 FXDF, and 2007 to 2017 FXDWG models if the included spacers are discarded. With penetration-welded nuts and a high-luster finish, this axle provides both the strength required for the road and the show-quality look your Harley deserves.
