About This Product
This is the Jagg #4050 automatic bypass valve. It mounts in-line and acts as a thermostat for the oil cooler. It bypasses the cooler during cold starts and cool weather so the engine reaches operating temperature faster. When the oil warms the valve opens and routes fluid through the cooler. The body is anodized billet aluminium. You need at least three inches of straight hose for installation. The kit includes all necessary hardware. Position it where the hose run is straight. Check for leaks on the first ride.
