The BDL Competitor Clutch Steel Backing Plate is a heavy-duty component measuring .120 inches in thickness. This plate is a critical part of the BDL Competitor Clutch assembly, providing the necessary rigidity and surface for the clutch pack to operate effectively. Engineered by Belt Drives LTD, this backing plate is designed to withstand the pressures of high-performance V-Twin applications, ensuring the clutch pack remains stable under load. It works in conjunction with BDL ball-bearing lock-up pressure plate to provide smooth engagement and a lighter lever pull. This steel plate is a durable replacement part for riders maintaining or rebuilding their BDL high-performance clutch system.
