About This Product
Belt Drives LTD Competitor Clutch steel backing plate is .120 inch thick. It fits 1998-2000 Evolution Big Twin and 1999-2017 Twin Cam Standard six-stud clutches. The plate supports the clutch pack under load and mates with the BDL ball-bearing lock-up pressure plate. It keeps the stack square for even engagement. Replace it if you see hot spots or blueing. Check the runout on the clutch hub before you reassemble.
