Design Engineering Inc under-tank reflection kit. You get a 24-inch square self-adhesive thermal barrier and a 15-foot roll of 1.5-inch wide tape. Stick the barrier under the tank to reflect radiant heat away from the fuel. That stops the fuel overheating. It prevents vapour lock and diminished engine performance. You can cut it to shape and stick it to metal, plastic, or fibreglass. It works under fairings, on side bags, or anywhere the exhaust cooks the bodywork. Use the tape to seal edges and odd shapes. It keeps things cooler on air-cooled bikes.
