About This Product
This Zodiac solid-state rectifier and regulator replaces OEM 74523-84A. It fits Sportster models. The unit bolts in place of the original and keeps battery voltage steady through the rev range. Older regulators can overcharge or fail open. This solid-state unit reacts faster and runs cooler. Check your stator output and battery earth before fitting. A faulty stator or poor earth will kill the replacement just as fast.
