Lowering the front end of your Softail used to be a messy, afternoon-long ordeal, but Progressive Suspension has changed the game with their Drop-In fork lowering kits. You can pull up to two inches out of the front of your bike in about thirty minutes using basic tools, and the best part is you do not even have to disassemble the forks or change out the oil. The kit utilizes shorter-than-stock main springs paired with secondary compensation springs to maintain proper tension and ride quality. It allows for a fully adjustable drop from stock height down to a full 2-inch slam. It is an efficient way to get that aggressive custom stance without the headache of a traditional fork rebuild, making it a favorite for garage mechanics.
