About This Product
This straight pipe muffler from Samwel Supplies is a faithful reproduction of the original equipment found on 1950 through 1952 45CI Sidevalve models. While it is period-correct for those later years, it also fits perfectly on 1932 through 1949 models, sliding right onto stock or stock-style aftermarket front pipes. Replacing OEM 65228-50, it is available in both chrome and black. For those choosing the black version, the factory finish is intended for rust prevention only, so you will want to recoat it with heat-resistant paint after installation. Remember that the necessary four-clamp kits are not included and should be ordered separately to complete your exhaust overhaul.
