About This Product
AV&V Extreme Duty valves replace OEM number 18031-86 on Harley-Davidson Sportster models. AV&V forges them from one piece of stainless steel and finishes them with a black liquid nitride coating. That coating makes the surface harder and smoother than standard, so the valve and guide wear less. The stems come centreless ground to a micro finish. A 45-degree angle below the lock groove helps the valve seal slide on without damage. These suit high-performance builds where heat resistance matters.
