About This Product
S&S Super Stock crankcases are the gold standard for engine builders working on late Shovelhead and Evolution Big Twin models. Cast from 356-aluminum alloy and heat-treated to T6 specs, these cases offer significantly more strength in key areas without interfering with stock frame fitment. They are ideal for everything from stock replacements to high-performance street racing builds. This assembly includes the right and left cases, cylinder studs, Timken sprocket shaft bearings, and all necessary fittings and hardware. Evolution style cases are ready for 1992 to 1999 oil filter assemblies, while Shovelhead versions accept 1981 to 1984 oil pumps. These cases provide a rock-solid foundation for any FX, FXR, Softail, or Touring project.
