About This Product
Liqui Moly Metal Putty is a two-component epoxy resin for repairing cracked casings and stripped threads. It adheres to aluminium, steel, cast iron and magnesium. The cured putty resists salt and acids. You can machine, grind or paint it after twenty minutes. I have used it to salvage primary cover threads and hairline cracks in tinware when welding is not practical. Scuff the surface with a flap wheel. Mix the two parts thoroughly and apply the putty.
