About This Product
This is the American Prime Manufacturing mechanical advance unit. It fits Harley-Davidson points ignitions and specific electronic systems including the Dyna S and Daytona TwinTec VT-I. The shaft and plate are stainless steel. Heat-treated weights have a polymer coating to reduce friction and run on stainless steel pins. The springs are phosphate-coated, tempered music wire and white-plated. It replaces worn advance components to restore timing. Cam is not included.
