It is delivered without fuel or ignition systems, allowing you to utilize your existing performance components. The heads are specially machined to compensate for cylinder length, ensuring that stock-length manifolds and air cleaner backplates align perfectly. This engine includes S&S Easy Start cams and a high-flow oil pump for improved oiling and easier starting. It is a robust foundation for a high-performance bagger build. For EFI models, a performance tuner like a Power Vision or S&S VFI module is required to handle the increased displacement and ensure the engine runs at its peak.
