About This Product
V-Twin starter gear lever replaces OEM 31300-84. It fits electric-start Big Twin, FX, Softail and Touring models from 1965 through 1988. This lever pushes the starter drive into the ring gear. Fit it when the old lever cracks or the engagement gets lazy. Check the return spring and bushing while you are inside the motor. Clean the drive gear and inspect the ring gear teeth for damage.
